Technical description

The ATHENA valve, connected to the feed pipe by flanges and governed by a large stainless steel float, controls the water level in a tank, reducing and stopping the supply at the maximum level and opening progressively as the level falls.

Features

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.

• Stainless steel float and float rod.

• Stainless steel internal components.

• Self-cleaning piston.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

Working conditions

• Pressure: 10-16 bar.

• Minimum upstream pressure: 0 bar.

• Clean water up to 60°C, higher values on request.

Connections

• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 300 mm.

• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.

Standard

• Designed and tested to EN 1074.
