Technical description

The Mod. FOX 3F HR air valve, installed on vertical pipes in high-rise buildings or pumping stations, ensures correct system operation by allowing air pockets to be vented under working pressure, large air flows to be admitted during draining, and air to be discharged in a controlled way while the pipe is being filled, so as to avoid water hammer.

• Stainless steel venting sub-assembly.

• Solid polypropylene float.

• Stainless steel anti water hammer system with adjustable orifices.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

• BSP F 1″ threaded outlet elbow.

Working conditions

• Pressure: 10-16-25-40 bar.

• Minimum pressure 0.2 bar.

• Clean water up to 60ºC.

Connections

• 1″ BSP F thread; NPT on request.

• 2″ versions or larger flanged sizes on request.

Standard

• Certified and tested to EN 1074.
