Technical description
The Italica 353 needle valve opens or closes according to electrical signals received by the solenoid valves of the control circuit. Connected to a controller, it can be set to any position and control different hydraulic variables (flow, pressure, level, etc.). The needle valves of the circuit allow the reaction, opening and closing speeds to be adjusted independently, ensuring accurate, progressive control. It is usually supplied with a manually operated emergency circuit and, optionally, with hydraulic functions in the event of an electrical failure. It is normally fitted with an electronic position indicator with 4-20 mA output.
