Single chamber, double function combination air valve, with an integrated non-slam water hammer prevention system and a threaded outlet for air ducting. It allows air pockets to be released in pressurised pipes and large volumes of air to be admitted in the event of draining or a burst, preventing vacuum conditions. During the discharge phase, the valve detects increases in speed and differential pressure and, if necessary, activates the RFP disc to control the flow, preventing the abrupt closing of the moving block, a common cause of water hammer. Made entirely of ductile iron, with a stainless steel venting system and seat, the LYNX 3F RFPC stands out for its reliability and durability.
