Technical description
The air valve must ensure the correct operation of pressurised sewage networks by performing its three functions of venting the air present, together with the intake or release of large volumes of air when the pipework is drained or filled. Air valve designed for wastewater.
Features
• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.
• Stainless steel venting sub-assembly.
• Stainless steel seat.
• AISI 316 stainless steel float.
• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.
Working conditions
• Fluid: wastewater.
• Pressure: 10-16 bar.
• Minimum pressure 0.2 bar.
• Maximum temperature: 60°C, higher values on request.
Connections
• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 200 mm.
• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.
Standard
• Designed and tested to EN 1074.
