Technical description

The CSA VRCD pressure reducing and stabilising valve, with ductile iron body and stainless steel components, maintains a preset, constant downstream pressure regardless of upstream pressure and flow variations.

Features

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.

• Stainless steel internal components.

• Self-cleaning piston and upstream and downstream pressure balancing chamber.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

Working conditions

• Pressure: 10-16-25-40 bar.

• Downstream pressure: setting ranges: 1.5-6 bar, 5-12 bar, higher values on request.

• Clean water up to 60°C.

Connections

• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 150 mm.

• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.

Standard

• Designed and tested to EN 1074.
