Double chamber proportional pressure reducing valve fig. XLC 300/400-DC-PR PN 16/25

XLC 300/400-DC-PR PN 16/25

Technical description

The CSA XLC 300/400-DC-PR double chamber valve, hydraulically actuated, reduces and stabilises the pressure according to a fixed ratio.

Features

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron and stainless steel internal components.

• Stainless steel position indicator.

• Stainless steel pilot circuit.

• Stainless steel adjusting device, needle valves and flow stabilisers.

• Stainless steel seat.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

Applications

• To carry out a two-stage pressure reduction, in combination with another CSA pressure reducing valve.

• On the feed line of storage tanks, to stabilise the pressure upstream of level control valves.

• On gravity lines with steep negative gradients, with several valves to avoid very high pressures caused by large differences in altitude.

Reference standards and flanges

• Designed and tested to EN 1074.

• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 250 mm, larger sizes on request.

• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.

Working conditions

• Pressures: 10-16-25 bar.

• Minimum pilot pressure: 0.7 bar.

• Clean water up to 70ºC, version for higher temperatures on request.

Technical identification

Pilot-operated hydraulic valve, pilot-operated control valves, pilot-operated diaphragm valves
