Downstream pressure reducing and upstream pressure sustaining valve fig. XLC 312/412 PN 25

XLC 312/412 PN 25

Technical description

The CSA XLC 312/412 control valve is an automatic hydraulic globe type valve that reduces and stabilises the downstream pressure to a set value regardless of variations in flow demand, while at the same time ensuring an upstream pressure no lower than a set value.

Features

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron and stainless steel internal components.

• Stainless steel position indicator.

• Stainless steel pilot circuit.

• Stainless steel adjusting device, needle valves and flow stabilisers.

• Stainless steel seat.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

Applications

• Installed on the main line, to prioritise supply to elevated zones by maintaining the upstream pressure and not exceeding a given downstream pressure.

• On pumps, to prevent excessive flow and keep the pump at a working point, while ensuring that the downstream pressure stays within acceptable values.

• Located between two pressure zones, to protect the low zone from excessive values during off-peak hours and to control the upstream pressure at peak hours, ensuring correct supply to the high zone.

Reference standards and flanges

• Designed and tested to EN 1074.

• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 400 mm, larger sizes on request.

• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.

Working conditions

• Pressures: 10-16-25 bar.

• Minimum pilot pressure: 0.7 bar.

• Clean water up to 70ºC, version for higher temperatures on request.

Technical identification
