Downstream pressure reducing valve with electrically remote-controlled shut-off fig. XLC 315/415 PN 16/25

XLC 315/415 PN 16/25

Technical description

The CSA XLC 315/415 control valve is an automatic hydraulic globe type valve that reduces and stabilises the downstream pressure to a set value regardless of variations in flow demand. Thanks to a solenoid valve it can also open or close in response to an electrical signal.

Features

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron body and cover.

• GJS 450-10 ductile iron and stainless steel internal components.

• Stainless steel position indicator.

• Stainless steel pilot circuit.

• Stainless steel adjusting device, needle valves and flow stabilisers.

• Stainless steel seat.

• RAL 5005 blue epoxy coating applied by fluidised bed technology.

Applications

• Located between two supply lines working at different pressure values, to secure and control the water supply in response to a signal from alarms and emergency situations.

• Protecting civil installations and buildings against excessive pressure, opening and closing when the signal is sent to the solenoid.

• Protecting service reservoirs with the option of closing by electrical signal (for example in the event of excess level).

Reference standards and flanges

• Designed and tested to EN 1074.

• Flanges from DN 50 to DN 400 mm, larger sizes on request.

• Flanges to EN 1092/2, others on request.

Working conditions

• Pressures: 10-16-25 bar.

• Minimum pilot pressure: 0.7 bar.

• Clean water up to 70ºC, version for higher temperatures on request.

Technical identification

Pilot-operated hydraulic valve, pilot-operated control valves, pilot-operated diaphragm valves
