The 60th anniversary edition of IFAT Munich has closed its doors, confirming its position as the world’s largest showcase for environmental technologies. After four intense days, we at Comeval Valve Systems return with the satisfaction of having been part of a record event that brought together 142,000 visitors and 3,400 exhibitors from all over the world.
Under this edition’s central theme, “Circularity is a must”, the fair showed that the water and waste treatment sector has been a fundamental driver of the global economy. For Comeval, taking part was an outstanding opportunity to reaffirm our leadership in engineered fluid control solutions, sharing a stand with ARI-Armaturen.
The value of technical advice: Luca Garofalo’s expertise
One of the pillars of our presence this year was specialist advice. Our Water Business Developer, Luca Garofalo, led the technical consultancy sessions on the stand, looking at our customers’ projects and operational challenges at first hand. The excellent reception of these personalised sessions confirms that, in an increasingly technological environment, technical reliability and expert knowledge remain the assets most valued by operators and engineering firms in the water sector.
Key takeaways from IFAT 2026: efficiency and resilience
During the week we saw how digitalisation and energy efficiency have stopped being trends and become operational standards. At Comeval, our product lines for water applications – including solutions offering maximum reliability and operational efficiency – are aligned with the need to build infrastructure that is more resilient to climate change and resource scarcity.
We would like to thank all the customers and new contacts who visited us on the stand. Your concerns and projects are the driving force that pushes us to keep innovating in the manufacture of valves that guarantee water sustainability.
